Prepare a presentation on the typeface you have selected from the list below. It should mainly focus on the characteristics of its design, relevant background information, the type designer, and examples of the typeface in use.
This presentation will be evaluated on your abilities to clearly communicate your research, which includes your readiness to present, your presentation’s design (objectivity, creativity, originality and clarity), and your knowledge of the subject.
Time length: 5 minutes (20-25 slides+sources and bibliography) + 1 minute for questions
The name of the presenters will be posted in the blog as I receive the requests by e-mail in order of arrival.
You should bring supporting material such as magazines, or printouts with examples to pass around, however, the main presentation must be prepared to be shown on the classroom projector – Mac Platform (you must test it before class, not all computers have the same fonts installed and version of PowerPoint), have it all set to be presented and saved on a USB key, NOT on your laptop. Just to be safe, save your file as a PDF. Feel free to use notes, however jsent without reading.
